Instrumentarium Science Foundation is a private, non-profit science foundation whose purpose is to promote and support medical, technical and scientific equipment and methods related research and economic research in these fields through grants.
The Instrumentarium Science Foundation awarded Janne Mäkelä, Ph.D., a EUR 100,000 Instrufoundation Fellow grant to expand national and international expertise in the new research field by establishing Finland's first cartilage tribology laboratory at the University of Eastern Finland.
The Instrumentarium Science foundation will gladly receive donations from communities, companies and individuals. The donations are directed unabridged to high level scientific research. If needed, the Foundation will provide legal assistance in practical arrangements.
