Happy Holiday Season & Thank You for the 2023

The evaluation of the 2024 grant applications has been completed. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and thank you all for the collaboration. This Christmas, we are supporting the important work of the “Doctors Without Borders” with a donation.

This year has been a successful one for the Instrumentarium Science Foundation. In 2023, we distributed 1.4 million euros in grants to researchers in medical, medical technology and the scientific and economic research related to those fields. The same amount is also allocated for the 2024 grants.

The Instrumentarium Science Foundation received over 400 applications for the 2024 grant period. The evaluation of these applications began in October 2023, and they have been reviewed over the autumn by experts selected from outside the foundation. The evaluation work is now complete for all different subject areas and grant formats.

“We warmly thank the evaluators for their contribution. Reviewing the applications is a significant effort and requires expertise in the subject area as well as visionary thinking,” thanks Markku Lämsä, the Attorney of the Instrumentarium Science Foundation.

The funding decisions will be announced to the applicants in January 2024, and the grant award ceremony will be held on February 14, 2024, in Helsinki.
